I am an experienced and accredited Counsellor, Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor working with adults, couples and young people. I’m currently working online and face-to-face.
My Approach
My role as a therapist is to help you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a way that promotes insight and self-awareness, and to support you as you work towards greater clarity, understanding and change. The goal is a happier, more fulfilling life, day to day and moving forward.
As an Integrative therapist I am trained to draw on a number of theoretical models in order to find the right integration of these to suit you and your individual needs
These include
- Humanistic/Person Centred Therapy – focussed on providing the right conditions for you to talk and feel heard and understood based on a relationship of trust and acceptance
- Psychodynamic Therapy – uncovering and exploring the underlying issues and unconscious feelings that can influence and drive our behaviours but can be harder to see and understand
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – identifying the limiting beliefs and negative patterns in feeling/thinking/behaving that often underlie anxiety and depression and finding strategies for coping and change
I also draw on mindfulness based techniques and have additional training in coaching, CBT, MBTA, Motivational Interviewing, Sand Tray Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy.
It’s your story and I believe that the most powerful and empowering long-term solutions are often the ones you come to yourself. Together we can work towards new insights, fresh perspectives, and a greater understanding of how you can draw on your own inner resources to help yourself in the future.
My Experience

I am Registered and Accredited with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and work in accordance with their ethical framework.
