I have more than 15 years’ experience working therapeutically with adults across different stages of life, including young adults and older adults.
I work with people who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, bereavement, complicated grief, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, workplace pressure, life transitions or emotional overwhelm.
My background spans further education, university counselling and private practice. I have worked with international students, professionals, people from corporate backgrounds, and those working in the creative arts, music, media and performance industries.
As an integrative practitioner, I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, including solution-focused, CBT or coaching-informed work, mindfulness-based and cognitive approaches, person-centred therapy and psychodynamic thinking. Some people come for shorter-term work around a specific concern, and others may be looking for longer-term psychotherapy to explore experiences, relationships and patterns in more depth.
I work collaboratively to help you understand yourself more fully, make sense of your experiences, and recognise patterns that may be affecting your life. In our work together, you can speak openly and work through what feels difficult or unresolved.
Experience and qualifications
I am a BACP registered counsellor and psychotherapist and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. My qualifications include a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of East London, completed on a BACP accredited programme.
Alongside my private practice, my professional background includes lecturing and course leadership in integrative counselling and coaching training.
